Question about Player Movement Script

edited July 2020 in Brackeys' Tutorials

So in this video by Brackeys: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAB64vfbrhI&list=PLPV2KyIb3jR53Jce9hP7G5xC4O9AgnOuL&index=6 at 7:12 he said to replace the Debug.Log with movement.enabled = false; and when I hit play, it turns off the Player Movement Script right away. While for him it turned off the Player Movement Script when he hit the obstacle. If anyone knows how to solve this, please leave a comment. Thank you! 😊

This problem arises because you collided with the ground right when you hit the play button. To solve this problem, you have to disable the script only when it hits an object with the tag "obstacle".

He addressed this issue in his earlier tutorial in this very series.

    I hope I made some sense 😅
